Gameday September 20, 2009
B in his Portis onesie from last season and then his new Cooley 2T after our trip to Fair Oaks. As you can tell from the picture, all of our shopping this morning wore him out. He was less than thrilled to be at Costco…

Cox Farms September 19, 2009
Brennan made his first trip to the pumpkin patch over the weekend. We met up with Sara, Thanh & Little Landon Le (who is now just over a week old!). I am glad that B is only 1 because if he were a little older – he might have picked up on what was going down at the farm. We had two pretty bad/hilarious experiences.
1. We went to feed the goats… Cox decided it’d be a good to throw all the babies into a pen with their super protective mothers. Right as we were buying our goat feed to enter, some little girl comes running out screaming bloody murder… the goats ate her fingers!
2. Baby Chicks – so cute and little and fluffy and innocent… Until this albino-looking one starts having a seizure on its back and then all the others start stomping on its face and then pecking its eyes out.
B rode the slides and enjoyed the corn maze – it was such a perfect day to spend outside! At the end, B got to take home a mini-pumpkin which he dug his teeth into and tried to eat on the way home

Grandparents’ Weekend September 14, 2009
I met my parents halfway in Fredricksburg so that they could spend some time with B and keep him for a few days while I got some things done around my house. He had so much fun – I don’t think he missed me at all!

Fairfax Corner September 11, 2009
B has been a little under the weather for 2 weeks – but since he’s feeling a little better, I thought he’d like to get some Maggie Moos and run around Fairfax Corner

moving on up September 3, 2009
Yesterday was B’s first day in his new classroom at his school. He moved up from the infant room to a toddler room. It was a super sad day for me because he is still just a little bun in my eyes. One of his favorite teachers told me that there is no more time for bottles – only sippy cups from now on. I almost cried! As you can tell from the picture, he was anything but excited to start the day.
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY! August 26, 2009
I absolutely cannot believe that my little minibun is already 1! It makes me so sad… I want him to stay sweet and chunky and little forever. He’s always running around now and he is so busy playing with all of his toys and looking at the pages in his books – I think that he sometimes he forgets about all the time he used to spend just cuddling with his mom. I am so excited about how curious and fearless he is (although the latter can be dangerous – we have bruises as souvenirs). We have many more adventures to come! He had three little parties – family, school, and friends.
